LAUDATE! Chamber Choir

Laudate! is one of Cornwall's leading chamber choirs. Singers are drawn from from within the Truro to Land's End catchment area. The choir specialises in church music and we sing a mixture of services and concerts in churches and cathedrals.

LAUDATE! is a classical style chamber choir based near Penzance. Singers are drawn from all areas of West Cornwall. The choir sings mainly church music in a mixture of concerts and services in West Cornwall and beyond, including occasional Cathedral visits (in 2012, Exeter and Truro). Much of the music performed is drawn from the English Cathedral repertoire including Byrd, Tallis, Howells, Stanford, Wesley and Wood to name but a few composers.

Prospective candidates for membership of Laudate! must have a reasonable standard of signt reading and be willing to learn new music quickly.
