Local Vocalz are a West Cornwall based choir which rehearse in Hayle on Monday evenings. Although the choir rehearses in Hayle, Members are drawn from all over the West Cornwall area, from as far afield as Helston, Galmouth, Lands End and Truro, as well as locals from Hayle, St Ives and Penzance. The choir sings a wide range of music, including classical, folk, pop, show tunes and other light-hearted repertoire.

The choir performs concerts and undertakes other engagements, competes in local music festivals and has a busy social life, including parties, meals out, social events and trips. (A trip to Brittany is taking place in May 2012). The choir has performed on several occasions in Truro Cathedral as well as at concerts in Penzance, St Ives and Gwennap Pit.
